Profile Aya（スタジオトライブス）アフリカンダンサー／アフリカンダンス・アフリカンリトミック講師幼少期よりジャズダンスを冨田ユカ氏に師事。関西学院大学在学中にアフリカンダンスと出会い、ニューヨークへ短期留学。DJONIBA DANCE CENTERにてアフリカンダンスを学ぶ。旅行代理店JTBに約5年間勤務したのち、かねてより憧れていたアフリカへ渡航。セネガル国立舞踊団トップダンサー、Pamoussa Sonko氏に師事し、その後ギニア、エチオピアなど各国を巡り、ダンスやパーカッションを学ぶ。2013年より約4年間ケニアに移住。Nairobi Dance Ensembleにて研鑽を積む。帰国後は、アフリカンダンサーとしての活動に加え、アフリカンダンスおよびアフリカンリトミック講師として、子どもから大人まで幅広い世代に指導を行っている。これまでに、サッカーワールドカップ・セネガル対日本戦、ラグビーワールドカップでの応援パフォーマンス、横尾忠則現代美術館オープンコンサート、大阪・関西万博アフリカデー、TICAD9 石破内閣総理大臣・山中横浜市長共催歓迎レセプションなどに出演。主な出演メディアNHK BS1、読売テレビ「もんくもん」、MBS「ちちんぷいぷい」「ミント」、朝日放送「相席食堂」ほか多数。⸻English ProfileAfrican Dancer / African Dance & African Rhythmic InstructorShe began studying jazz dance in early childhood under Yuka Tomita.While attending Kwansei Gakuin University, she encountered African dance for the first time and later traveled to New York for a short-term study, training at the DJONIBA DANCE CENTER.After working for approximately five years at JTB, a major travel agency in Japan, she moved to Africa to pursue her long-held dream.In Senegal, she studied under Pamoussa Sonko, a leading dancer of the Senegal National Dance Company. She subsequently traveled to Guinea, Ethiopia, and other countries, deepening her knowledge of African dance and percussion.From 2013, she lived in Kenya for four years, training with the Nairobi Dance Ensemble.After returning to Japan, she has been active as an African dancer and as an instructor of African dance and African rhythmic movement, teaching a wide range of ages from children to adults.Her performance credits include cheering performances at the FIFA World Cup (Senegal vs. Japan) and the Rugby World Cup, the opening concert of the Tadanori Yokoo Museum of Contemporary Art, Africa Day at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, and the TICAD 9 welcome reception co-hosted by the Prime Minister of Japan and the Mayor of Yokohama.Media AppearancesNHK BS1, Yomiuri TV, MBS, Asahi Broadcasting, and others.
